Set on a 1,000-acre tree nursery, The Market at Grelen is a hidden gem. From the moment you drive down the tree-lined entrance and start to glimpse the tree rows set on the contour of the land, you will feel as if you’ve been transported to Italy. As your eyes wander from the surrounding gardens to the expansive views of the nursery to the Blue Ridge Mountains in the distance, you will know that y

ou’ve arrived at a magical destination full of charm, simplicity and casual elegance. The Grelen experience is a multifaceted one and boasts a casual cafe, garden shop, event venue (weddings!), free hiking trails and a pyo farm (berries, peaches and apples). The Market at Grelen shop/trails are open Wed-Sun from 10-4, and the cafe serves food from 11-3:30. Our shop features home decor & gardening necessities, houseplants, annuals/perrenials, trees, shrubbery, and so much more! Our cafe serves farm-to-table lunch in a jaw-dropping setting, Ice cream made on the property and featuring local ingredients, and of course Virginia’s finest selection of local beer, wine, and cider. Grelen Nursery is open M-F *by appointment only* and specializes in large retail/wholesale landscaping & hardscaping jobs.

This reception space was absolutely breathtaking ✨🤍

From the glowing lights to the lush greenery installations, every detail created such a warm and inviting atmosphere for Patton and her guests to celebrate the evening together 🌿🥂

We love seeing wedding visions come together in a way that feels elevated, intentional, and completely reflective of the couple's style. This tented reception felt romantic, elegant, and unforgettable from every angle 💖

Come meet our sweet pup, Irezumi, created by Artist, Colin Bocmoore. We are honored to host him for the Service Dogs of Virginia who came up with this fabulous art exhibit called “Art Unleashed.” We think it would be fun to follow the trail and visit them all (see list below). All of the dog statues will be auctioned off at their event on October 24,2026 in the codebuilding and the net proceeds will benefit their capital campaign to build a new dedicated training facility! This will help many more Virginians living with disabilities as many are waiting for trained dogs. And Service Dogs of VA provide them at no charge. 👏👏👏
