It is with a lot of mixed emotions that as of today we are closing Secundo. We built a beautiful space, served exquisitely crafted food & beverage, and provided warm hospitality since opening. Thank you to all of our patrons that have shared their evenings and special occasions with us, and thank you to all of the staff members that made Secundo such a wonderful place to spend our time. Our sister restaurant Festina Lente in Kittery will still be going strong. And if you need your pasta craving satiated, we will be there.

First spring changes are hitting the menu tonight. These are a couple of them. First is a risotto cake with pancetta & peas, cured egg yolk, & lemon aioli. Second is an arugula salad with the first arugula of the season from our friends with shaved fennel, rhubarb vin, & seared halloumi. Third is the “Pink Rabbit” gin, rhubarb, lemon, cocchi Rosa, & aquafaba. Come and get ‘em.

Today marks the date of our 1-year anniversary. And what an insane and long year it has been. People told me when having my second child that two was way more than twice the... everything. And they were right. But I never really understood until opening Secundo, my second restaurant, that two restaurants was also going to be way more than twice the everything. In the past year we have made some incredible food & drink and provided warm hospitality to many people. Some we knew, and some we now know. And I am endlessly proud of the staff here that has been killing it since day 1. We made it to a year everybody. Happy anniversary Secundo.
