Well we made it through our first weekend after almost 3 years of being closed due to our fire. Did everything go perfect,,, no of course not. Starting up and also using a new POS that no one has used was a little over the top but by Sat. things started to smooth out. Also we had some major equipment malfunctions but we overcome. Then later Sat. evening a bunch of freinds and family came in to celebrate TN & KY’s big wins. Everybody was having a great time and playing the juke box. I thought after a stressful weekend the ole Lenny’s is back. I promise it will continue to get better every week.

Our first customers. My cuz & hubby, Luann & Dave. They moved to Fulton from MI to escape the MI winters, (also to be by her favorite cousin).

We made it through the first lunch rush. Yeah we had a few screw ups. The hashbrowns were not right, greens got a double dose of peppers and were too hot but we fixed it!! And we had a hiccup with the new smoker so we didn’t have bbq ready for lunch but it is ready now!

We expected some small things to go wrong the first day, but we will get them worked out.

All in all it was a successful first lunch!!!!

Fridays lunch plate:
Meatloaf, mashed potato, corn & roll. Drinks are free.

What started as an old feed mill in South Fulton, KY, became so much more than a restaurant. For years, Lenny’s at Reed Brothers has been a place for good food, live music, celebrations, and countless memories.

After a devastating fire in 2024 and two years of rebuilding, we’re finally opening our doors again TOMORROW!

Built with love, rebuilt with determination, and brought back for the community that made it so special. ❤️

In honor of my Dad who was always very proud of me starting Lenny’s Five Star Dive Bar!

We Passed our health inspection today! We got everything ready. Some prep tomorrow and Thursday at 11 am we’re back!

Don’t forget to order your plate lunch tomorrow.

Ok everybody has been asking what’s your menu going to be. A lot the same a few changes.

We choose to go with our most popular items present and past. Some items we dropped will probably show up in lunch or dinner special just follow our page. So thanks to my talented daughter Lacy here’s our new menu …….

Also our first lunch plate will be
BBQ Chicken leg thigh, hash brown casserole, choice of green beans or turnip greens. All homemade nothing off the truck and fried. 10 bucks and as an introductory offer soft drink or tea will be free!

To ensure you get a lunch plate, we will post the menu the day before. If you would please place your orders by leaving a message that would be a great help for us to know how much to prepare.

I know many of you are wanting to know if we are going to do karaoke. Yes, we eventually we will but not the first few weekends. We’re anticipating being kinda busy. I’m afraid there will be too many fires for me to put out to run karaoke. Plus I need to purchase some equipment. Sorry but be patient we will be bringing it back.

I guess that’s enough info for this post. Cant wait to see y’all

Ok we are back from our Italy trip and for the past two years myself and family and friends have heard nothing but “When is Lenny’s opening back up ?” Well the day is close we will be opening this Thursday at 11am. Our kitchen hours will be 11 am - 9pm Thursday Friday Saturday and Monday. We have basically the same menu with a few items deleted and several new items added. We also plan to offer a daily lunch plate special. It’ll be the same ole Lenny’s but better. As you can see from the picture we had to completely gut the place and rebuild it. It turned very nice. Thanks to everyone who helped. We have a new larger kitchen and much improved bathrooms. We don’t have every little detail finished ( mainly the exterior) but we want to get opened up.
We have some very great additions in the works but it might be a few weeks to implement them. I’m sure we will have a few glitches but bear with us we will get it worked out.
I’ll be posting regularly the next few days about how things will work starting out so keep an eye out for our post. We look forward to seeing everyone and serving our great customers. It’s been long hard ( and expensive) road back. See ya soon !

I really know better than to ask this but here goes. We are very close to reopening. What do y’all prefer. Home cut French fries or bought crinkle fries. I really don’t want to do both so that’s not an option. If we do home cut they will be fresh cut and immediately put in the deep frier. No par cooking like in the past causing them to be soggy. Fresh cut and fried.

To all my baking freinds. I’m trying out a yeast roll recipe. I’ve tried it twice. They taste good but are heavy. I’m not getting a good rise on my dough. The last time I used new yeast in tepid distilled water with sugar. Got a good foam but the dough didn’t rise good. Had it in a covered bowl in a warm place for almost 2 hours. What are your tricks. Baking isn’t really my thing.
