Tonight was special.

Not because we sold food.
Not because the event was packed.

Because for a few hours, people connected.

Boricuas found each other.
New Yorkers found each other.
Strangers became friends.
People danced, laughed, shared stories, and celebrated culture together.

This is exactly what I dreamed Cabo Rojo could be around.

Thank you to The Jesse, Frankie Vazquez, Tiempo Latino, Juan, and everyone who showed up and made the night what it was.

My heart is full.
