After a week to rest, recharge, and spruce things up around the restaurant, the Gerhard’s team is back and ready to serve you!

🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day from all of us at Gerhard's! 🇺🇸

We hope you and your family have a fun, relaxing, and safe Fourth of July weekend!

While we've been enjoying a little summer break, it hasn't been all vacation around here. Behind the scenes we've been hard at work giving the restaurant some much-needed TLC with plenty of deep cleaning, organizing, and one major upgrade... a brand new 10-ton A/C unit to keep the Biergarten cool all summer long.

We know it's been a little toasty the past couple of weeks, so thank you for sticking with us while we got everything sorted out. Now you can kick back, enjoy a cold German beer, and relax in literally the coolest Biergarten in town. 🍺❄️

A huge thank you to our friends at Bell's Heating & Air for knocking out the installation, and to the incredible Gerhard's team members who spent part of their week off helping make it happen. We couldn't do it without you.

Gerhard's is taking a little summer vacation... but the Morgan Square Hospitality family is still serving up great food, cold drinks, and plenty of hospitality all week long!

While our team takes a well-earned break to rest and recharge, we hope you'll pay a visit to our sister restaurants downtown.

🍀 Delaney's Irish Kitchen & Pub - Spartanburg is pouring your favorite pints, serving up legendary fish & chips, burgers, shepherd's pie, and all the pub classics you know and love. Plus, catch live sports, great music, and the best crew in town.

🦪 Isla's on the Square is ready with fresh oysters, incredible seafood, handcrafted cocktails, and one of the best dinner experiences in downtown Spartanburg.

Last call before vacation! 🍻

Tonight is your last chance to join us at Gerhard’s Café before we take our annual summer break!

If you’ve been thinking about one more pizza in the biergarten, one more schnitzel dinner, or one more German beer with friends, this is the night.

We’ll be closed June 29 through July 5 to give our amazing team a well-deserved week to rest, recharge, and spend time with their families. We’ll be back and ready to welcome you on Monday, July 6.

Thank you for supporting our family, our staff, and a local restaurant that’s been part of Spartanburg for generations. We can’t wait to see everyone one more time tonight before we say Auf Wiedersehen for the week!

Only TWO DAYS LEFT before Gerhard’s Café takes our annual summer break!

Join us this Friday or Saturday for one more unforgettable dinner, your favorite German specialties, an ice-cold beer, and a chance to soak in the atmosphere that has made Gerhard’s a Spartanburg tradition for generations.

We’ll be taking a short break Monday, June 29 through Sunday, July 5 so our incredible team can enjoy some well-earned time to relax and recharge.

While we’re away, be sure to visit our Morgan Square Hospitality Group family! If you’re looking for an amazing seafood dinner, cocktails, and oysters, our friends at Isla’s on the Square have you covered. And if live music, great pub food, and the best patio in Spartanburg are calling your name, Delaney’s Irish Pub has an incredible lineup waiting for you all week long.

Just a reminder that Gerhard's Café will be taking our annual summer break beginning Monday, June 29. That means you've got four more days to get your Gerhard's favorites before we take a week to let our incredible team rest, relax, and recharge.

We'll be closed Monday, June 29 through Sunday, July 5, and we'll reopen with our regular hours on Monday, July 6.

Thank you for your continued support and for giving our staff the opportunity to enjoy a well-earned break with their families. We can't wait to welcome everyone back refreshed and ready for another great season.
