Happy Halloween from the people behind the pasta, parties, and occasional questionable costume choices. 🎃

October at Commellini Estate was a busy one.

We made a whole lot of pasta. We hosted murder mysteries. We told a few ghost stories. We welcomed guests for Haunted Historical Tours, served plenty of dinners and cocktails, celebrated weddings and private events, and somehow convinced members of our team to serve pasta dressed as everything from a banana to a plague doctor. 😂

And behind every single one of those nights was this crew.

The people setting tables, stirring sauces, tending bar, answering questions, washing dishes, resetting rooms, directing guests, solving problems, and jumping in wherever they were needed.

October gave us plenty of opportunities to embrace the spooky side of our 85-year-old Estate, but these photos might be some of our favorites because they capture what Commellini really looks like behind the scenes: a team that works incredibly hard and still manages to have a lot of fun doing it.

So before we officially say goodbye to October...

Last night, Pasta After Dark took over Commellini Estate. 🖤🍝

Black pasta dough. Pumpkin & ricotta ravioli. Italian superstitions. A little flour everywhere.

And tonight, we do it all over again.

We have ONE final Pasta After Dark class tonight, October 30 at 6:30 PM, and there’s still time to join us.

Come roll up your sleeves, make pasta from scratch, and experience a different side of Commellini Estate.

Because some of our favorite nights around here start with flour on the table. 🇮🇹

We were trying to come up with the perfect Commellini Estate employee Halloween costume.

Turns out it’s just an apron and the willingness to do absolutely anything that needs to be done.

One minute you’re answering an inquiry. The next you’re straightening chairs. Then someone needs a w**e key, a table moved, pasta served, a timeline fixed, or apparently a Reel filmed.

All fueled by espresso, pasta, and the unofficial family business motto:

“Everyone just pitch in.”

Of course, no costume would be complete without a radio that goes off the second you try to eat, a phone at 12%, a suspiciously large collection of keys, and a timeline that’s already on version four.

And then there’s the phrase every Commellini employee knows is coming eventually...

“Since you’re already here…”

A Villain's Vendetta is taking over Commellini Estate THIS WEEKEND, October 23–25, and we're inviting you to embrace your wicked side!

Forget simply dressing like a villain. Here's your chance to BE one.

Scheming, plotting, making questionable alliances, and pointing fingers at equally suspicious individuals? All perfectly acceptable behavior for the evening. 😂

Choose to play a character and you'll become part of the chaos! You'll receive your character details ahead of time, so you can arrive ready to stir up a little trouble. No acting experience necessary, just a willingness to have some fun.

And while you're busy being delightfully devious, Commellini Estate will be serving up a delicious three-course dinner.

For one night, we’re opening our doors for dinner, cocktails, live music, and haunted history at Commellini Estate.

No tickets for dinner. No dinner reservations. No special occasion required. Just come out, find a table, order something delicious, and enjoy an October evening at the Estate.

Our Haunted Historical Tours take you into the history of our 85-year-old Estate, sharing stories from the Commellini family, the property’s past, and a few things that are a little harder to explain. Tour tickets are sold separately, so you can add one to your evening or simply join us for dinner and drinks.

Dinner is open to everyone tonight with no reservation required.

Can’t make it tonight? We’re doing it one more time next Wednesday, October 28, with live music from Jonathan Nicholson and another evening of dinner, drinks, readings, and Haunted Historical Tours.

Just a local alleged influencer sharing a little Italian restaurant she recently discovered.*

*Has worked here for years. Family owns it. Is currently unclear on whether we are, in fact, a restaurant.

But I CAN confirm that for the next two Wednesdays, we are, in fact, a restaurant. 🍝

🍂 OCTOBER 21 + OCTOBER 28
Come out to Commellini Estate for dinner, cocktails and live music.

No tickets. No dinner reservations needed. Just show up, grab a table and order.

And because apparently simply opening a restaurant wasn’t enough, you can also add a Haunted Historical Tour of the Estate to your evening. 👻 Tours are offered at 6 PM, 7 PM and 8 PM and can be booked separately.

Then there’s December...
We’ll be opening the restaurant again on select Wednesdays throughout the month with reservations available. Last year, these nights sold out, so stay tuned. December reservations open next week. 🎄🍷

And yes, we also occasionally turn dinner into an entire production with our ticketed Murder Mystery Supper Clubs.

So to recap:
Sometimes you need a ticket.
Sometimes you need a reservation.
Sometimes you need neither.
Sometimes there is a murder to solve.
Sometimes there is no restaurant at all.
