FYI - we are excited to announce that our friends Kyle and Leah from Homecoming are purchasing our building and opening their second restaurant in Spring Green! Name yet to be determined, but it will be a Supper Club serving locally sourced steaks and pork, pasta and seafood and much more! Plus, they will be offering full bar service and taking reservations! Thier goal is to open by mid-June. We love their concept for the space and excited to see their new business thrive! Homecoming will still be in operation but with a more simplified family friendly menu. All of this is great news for the culinary scene and community of Spring Green!

OK - your diet starts next week, this week is Last Leaf's final three days, and we are going out with bang, we got the meats! We are ending with a few favorites -

Smoked Brisket BBQ w/ House-made BBQ, Kindred Creamery smoked Gouda, smoked brisket, applewood bacon, smoked yellow peppers, raw dry rub yellow onion rings.

Spicy Meatball - House-made spicy red sauce, mozzarella/provolone, parmesan, our spicy meatballs, San Marzano tomatoes, caramelized onions, roasted red peppers, dry herbs.

Italiano - House made spicy red sauce, mozzarella/provolone, salami, capicola, San Marzano tomatoes, red onion.

American Traditional w/ Mushrooms - Pepperoni, Sausage, Mushroom.

Create your own - choosing from any of the ingredients listed, plus black olives and garlic olive oil.

Hey, we really wanted to be open this week, but due to poor weather conditions we have decided to be close to keep everyone safe. Our son Trevor would have been driving from Mineral Point each day! We are down to six days! Here is our schedule, all days are 4PM to 8PM:

WED 21st & THU 22nd- Deli Sandwiches, Apps, House Salad
FRI 23rd - Pizza, Apps, House Salad
WED 28th > FRI 30th - Pizza, Apps, House Salad
Thursday this week looks iffy, if snow is hitting us hard once again, we will likely not open that eve.

I hope we can see many of you during these last six days of Last Leaf. Thank you to all who commented, your kind words were very heartwarming. Thank you all!

Retirement, a word not really in my vocabulary, but I will be retiring from the life of a restaurant owner/operator as of Dec 30th, 2022, when Last Leaf will close its doors. It is time, time to create more family memories with the one I love so dearly. At 63, the days of working 60 to 80 hours a week have to end for not only the quality of life of myself, but my lovely wife Jeaneane who has stuck with me through thick and thin. It is time to look for a new job that doesn't have the rigors of restaurant life, but still has rewards of a job well done, and probably better pay haha! I am working on a grassroots marketing plan to find a new restauranteur that will bring new life to our building and create a new destination restaurant for Spring Green that will also have locals enthusiastically embrace. So please, visit Last Leaf in the next few weeks, say goodbye, enjoy our quality menu items, cocktails and fantastic staff, tip generously and relive great memories spent in this spectacular space over the past 10 years. Thank you all so much for your support, the Owen family is so, so, grateful. Happy holidays and have a great New Year!

Just a reminder, we will be rocking NY style deli sandwiches tonight! Plus, we will be doing pizza both tomorrow night and Saturday 4PM to 8PM. This weekend specials will be - American Traditional w/ Mushrooms, Margherita, Smoked Pork BBQ (House BBQ, bleu cheese, smoked pork, smoked ham, yellow peppers, red onion, and a create your own option with all the ingredients we offer on the three specials. Stephanie will be shaking cocktails both nights! Mother nature is not being kind, but it is warm and cozy in Last Leaf! Cheers!

Last Leaf will now be open Friday Nights 4PM to 8PM versus Friday lunches. We will serve our beloved flatbread pizzas, shareable apps and house salad. So, two nights of pizzas (FRI &SAT), two nights of NY style deli sandwiches (Wed and Thur). Happy Holidays!!!

Yikes, didn't expect this much snow! Looks beautiful though! Tomorrow we will be open at 4PM to 8PM serving house salad, shareable apps INCLUDING FRIED BRUSSEL SPROUTS, and its pizza night so we will be serving - The American Traditional, The Wee Heavy Pig, The Old Man and create your own Veggie. Stephanie will be knocking our cocktails too! Come join us at Last Leaf on a nice December Saturday! Be safe out there everyone!

Its deli sandwiches at Last Leaf this evening, Thursday eve and Friday lunch. They are all made with high quality ingredients - sauces from scratch, breads from Clasen's Bakery, meats from Usinger's, Citterio, Neesvig's, and chesses from local cheese providers. Sandwiches are sold hot (mostly hot) or cold. My family and I lived in New York for five years and these sandwiches are our homage to some of our favorite deli's. They are delicious, come in and check them out!

Tonight, is the Country Christmas Parade in Spring Green, Last Leaf will be open for a short time so y'all can grab a drink and an appetizer from our shareable menu (We will not have a full menu), yours truly will be slinging drinks and chatting it up with people. We will be open 5ish to 7:30ish. It should be fun!

Plus, tomorrow is pizza night, we will have two fan favorites - The American Traditional and The Wee Heavy Pig - red sauce, bleu cheese, prosciutto, applewood bacon, roasted red peppers, caramelized onions, and fig jam. Additionally, we will be offering the Smoked Chicken BBQ - with our traditional BBQ sauce, Kindred Creamery Smoked gouda, house smoked organic chicken, applewood bacon, red onion and portobella mushrooms. All three are fantastic. We hope to see you this weekend!
