What’s a Lovey Takeover? Drop off your child’s favorite stuffed animal tomorrow (Friday, 7/3) starting at 4 p.m. until we close at 9 p.m. in front of AQ Chicken. They’ll help watch over AQ the night before we open, and we’ll share their adventures along the way! Pick-up is at 10 a.m. the next morning—stay for free face painting, balloon animals, and a live DJ!

Our family is a puddle. On our first day open, Miss Jerri’s daughter dropped off this arrangement and note with Miss Jerri’s AQ name tag. 😭

AQ Chicken is SO much more than just fried chicken. For some people, it was their childhood. For some, it was a 40+ year career at a place that became home, for many it was their first meal after they were married, annual birthday dinners and so much more. It’s been passed from generation to generation.

Our family considers ourselves not only owners, but stewards of the brand for Springdale and Arkansas. There have been owners before us, and one day, owners after us. Right now, it is our honor to keep the tradition and memories alive for this generation and hopefully, steward it well until it’s someone else’s.

It’s people like Miss Jerri and her family that make AQ what it is. Thank you for your support. Let’s make more AQ memories and make Springdale proud!! 🤍🐓
