A bittersweet Congratulations, Good Luck and Goodbye to our sushi chef Patrick Ruebling.
After nearly 14 years, we’re saying goodbye to someone who has been a huge part of Pao Bistro’s family. Over the years, Pat has played an instrumental role in the kitchen at Pao Bistro and is the mastermind of something Pao has become known for ~ our Sushi.
Hands down, Pat is the BEST sushi chef in town!
Putting family first, Pat has decided to leave the long days and late nights of the food service business and has accepted a Monday-Friday day job, with better pay, better hours and benefits that can’t be matched in our industry.
We support his decision and wish him and his family the best of luck.
Congratulations Pat, on a job well done!👏👏👏

Unfortunately for Pao though, rolling sushi is a very detailed and skilled art, and it’s not going to be easy to find a new sushi chef to replace Pat.
So, at least for now, after this week Pao will no longer be able to offer the sushi that Pao has become known for over the years.
But sushi is actually only a small part of what Pao has to offer.
We are also known for our premium steaks, chops, fresh seafood, signature martinis, and fine w**e.
