Wicked Whisk is entering a new chapter.
After five years - and three of them rolling through Western Mass in Zelda our nostalgia fueled RV - we are shifting gears.
Recently, I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in both of my basal thumb joints — a painful, progressive condition that makes the physical demands of this work nearly impossible. After more than 25 years in the food industry — the nonstop cooking, baking, food trucking, and admin — my hands never really had a chance. This diagnosis forced me to face a reality I didn’t want to: I can’t keep running things the way I used to.
This season pushed me in ways I didn’t expect — through hard lessons, setting boundaries, and finding the right people to collaborate with in a community that’s taught me a lot. The truth is, the economy hasn’t been kind to small businesses either, and it’s hit many of us hard. Between rising costs and unpredictable seasons, it’s been a lot to shoulder. Still, through it all, I’ve stayed grounded in what Wicked Whisk stands for: creativity, resilience, nostalgia, and a little chaos in the best way.
Effective November 1, 2025, I’ll be stepping away from day-to-day truck service and moving out of my kitchen space on Gasoline Alley. It wasn’t an easy decision, but it’s one I had to make for my health and the future of Wicked Whisk.
I’ll be taking a little time to rest and reset. Moving into 2026, I’ll be focusing on custom catering, event menus, and preorder deliveries — and yes, Zelda is still available for private catered events. The scratch-made, throwback-inspired food you love isn’t going anywhere. Wicked Whisk will be back — still creating, still connected, just a bit more mindful.
Thanks to the kindness of my friends Supicha and Phil (Thai Chili), who generously opened their doors to me when I was just getting started, they have once again offered me space. This setup will give me the flexibility to continue creating — just in a way that works for where I am now.
Thank you to everyone who’s supported me — especially when things weren’t perfect. Your orders, messages, and belief in this little corner-store-on-wheels have kept me going more than you know.
