The Bean Counter

A locally-owned shop that sells fresh, locally roasted coffee beans and gifts. We have the largest selection of non-flavored and flavored beans in the area.

All of the coffee beans we sell here at The Bean Counter were roasted and flavored by us! Want a pound of Irish Cream but don't see it on the shelf? No problem! We do take special orders on large amounts of coffee beans or on flavors that we don't have on hand in the store. Feel free to call us or stop on in to find out what we have in stock or to make a special order. Want decaf? That's not a pro

blem. We do have Sumatra, Hope Blend, and Guatemala available in decaf. In addition, we can also do any of our delicious flavored coffees in decaf. And if you're an owner of a Keurig, we also offer all of our coffees in K-cups made to order.

Now that the insanity of the holiday season is past us, we’re happy to announce our Monday’s are back!!!

Starting this Monday, March 9th, our Montvale location will be open 9 am to 2:00 pm every Monday. No longer will you have to fret if you use the last of your beans on Sunday morning! Just pick some more up the next day!

New hours for Montvale:

Monday: 9 am to 2 pm
Tuesday-Saturday: 9 am to 4 pm
Sunday: CLOSED

It’s that time of year again when our delicious 100% Jamaican Blue Mountain and Hawaiian Kona beans are in stock and available for purchase.

If you’d like to stock up, stop by either of our shops to grab yours in person or you can order over the phone by calling 217-546-4740.

The quantity is limited and first come, first serve, so we will not hold beans without payment.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we’re changing our hours for both our Springfield Memorial Hospital location and our Montvale shop until further notice.

The new hours are as follows:

Springfield Memorial Hospital:
Monday - Friday: 5:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

1913 West Iles Ave. (Montvale):
Tuesday - Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Sunday & Monday: CLOSED
