Wow. The outpouring of love these past few days has truly outweighed the hate. I think sometimes we forget how powerful community and kindness can be until moments like this remind us.

In a world that can feel so hostile and divided, watching people show up for one another with compassion, support, and understanding gives me so much hope. It proves that we are still capable of unity, grace, and humanity. I’m praying for all of us and for softer hearts.

At the same time, I do want to say this respectfully: attacking a small business publicly instead of reaching out directly about an experience can be incredibly damaging. Small businesses are made up of real people who work tirelessly behind the scenes, and constructive communication will always go further than online hostility.

To every customer who has supported us, defended us, grown with us, cried with us, celebrated with us, studied here, held meetings here, brought their children here, or simply made Socialite part of their routine you are the reason this place has meaning.

I will never take this community for granted. Thank you for standing beside us and reminding us that kindness will always outweigh hate. We love you all so much. 🤍 - Ayse

Over the past few days, we’ve seen false comments and assumptions being shared about our business and our values. Socialite Coffee Bar has never been affiliated with any political movement, and the statements being made about us are completely untrue.

We are a Turkish Muslim family-owned small business built on community, hospitality, kindness, and inclusion. People from every background walk through our doors daily, and we are proud to create a space where everyone feels welcomed and respected.

Unfortunately, a small group of accounts has repeatedly targeted our business online with negativity and misinformation. While constructive criticism is always welcome, personal attacks and false narratives are harmful not only to us, but also to the hardworking team behind this café.

For those who truly know Socialite, you know what we stand for: quality, community, generosity, and treating people with warmth. We’ve spent years supporting local organizations, hosting drives for families in need, and building meaningful relationships within this city. That speaks louder than internet rumors ever will.

We will continue focusing on what matters most, serving our community with love, respect, and integrity. Thank you to everyone who continues to support us, defend us, and see the heart behind what we do. -Ayse
