Do yourself a favor and get your tickets now to this beautiful show. Songs and stories of Christmas that will bring fond memories to your mind, tears to your eyes and a smile to your face. There is just nothing else like it. A favorite of many people over the last 30 years—come see it again with some lovely changes or experience it for the first time. It was presented multiple years at the tea shop to sold out audiences. Presented in the beautiful parlor at Belmont Mansion in Nashville this year on selected dates in December. It’s “fruitcake weather” again!!!

We have a stove and a freezer for sale at the Burdett’s Tea Shop location. Stove is Tappan and about 10 years old. Needs cleaning. All 4 burners and oven work fine. $50
Freezer is an energy efficient Frigidaire. Approximately 10 years old but is clean and in good condition. 20.2 cubic feet capacity. Asking $250. You would need to bring someone to help move them out. Comment here if interested. I will get back to you.

Look what Donna has at Main Street Boutique!! We have the favorite tea strainer of all times and a few remaining pots from the shop. When these are gone that is truly the last of them. All versatile, functional and pretty colors!!

After having had some time to rest (mind and body) and reflect on yesterday I can think of nothing else to say but “Thank you!”. Thank you to Donna who had this idea. Thank you to everyone who came to our event yesterday. Thank you to Darby, Erin, Donna and her staff, Lisa Arnold and Sam Ramsey who all worked hours to prepare for the day. Thank you to Bloomchick Flowers for the gorgeous bouquets. Thank you to the “Head sisters” and others for the photos. Thank you to the wonderful person who brought all of us coffee and smoothies from Historic Perk—and wouldn’t let us pay her for anything! Thank you to Burdett’s staff who showed up to see us! Thank you to Burdett’s staff who couldn’t be there-we couldn’t have lasted 20 years without your help! Thank you for the kind words from so many people who let us know we are missed and that just maybe we made a tiny difference in this world and in the lives of people we touched. I know without a doubt we are blessed by the people who touched our lives over the years.
I will forever be grateful for the 20 years on the corner of 7th Avenue and Main Street and for the wonderful people who came into our lives through the doors of Burdett’s Tea Shop.

It's Burdett's Week at Main Street Boutique! We are busy prepping for the wonderful Remembering Burdett's event this Saturday from 10-3 pm. If you've already pre-ordered your ham and cheese scones, we'll have those waiting for you at the event anytime throughout the day. We'll also have a handful available to those first come, first serve.

In addition, Sandy and her team have been very busy making complimentary Burdett's Bites and their wonderful iced fruit tea for all to enjoy! Come pick some up and shop while enjoying each other's company. She'll also have Burdett's chicken salad recipe available for you to take home.

We have ONE MORE pre-order that will be available tomorrow: this time for Burdett's House Blend Tea! This delicious tea was a favorite and now you can take it home one more time. The pre-orders for this will go on sale tomorrow, May 10th at noon. Sandy will also have a very limited amount of tea varieties available the day of.

We can't wait to spend the day with you! Stop by anytime this week if you have questions. We're here Tuesday-Friday, 10-5 and of course, Saturday, 10-3.

Hello to everyone!!
It’s been forever since we posted anything, but now we have some news to share. Donna Morton, owner of
Main Street Boutique has had a wonderful idea for an event called Remembering Burdetts Tea Shop. The event will be May 13 at Main Street Boutique. We will be serving complimentary “bites” of some favorites and selling Ham and Cheese Scones by boxes of 6. Please follow along here and at Main Street Boutique for much more information and videos of Donna and Sandy discussing the specifics of the day.
