This image full of military logos makes my eyes glisten a little. Individually, each store is making an impact in its own community. Collectively, it’s amazing to see what the entire Hurts Donut family can accomplish together. 10% of donut sales at every location will benefit a local organization!
For over a decade, Fridays have been about giving back. We’ve had the privilege of helping raise funds for families facing unimaginable hardships, children fighting medical battles, first responders, schools, nonprofits, and communities in need. National Donut Day gives us another opportunity to honor the spirit of why this holiday exists in the first place: serving those who have served others.
What started as a day created to honor the “Donut Lassies” who served troops during World War I has grown into something much bigger. Every Hurts location has chosen a military or veteran-focused charity, and together we’re supporting organizations that serve veterans, active-duty military members, service dogs, wounded warriors, military families, and so many others.
To every customer who chooses Hurts Donut on Friday, thank you. Every donut purchased helps support a cause that matters.
It’s pretty incredible what can happen when a whole lot of people decide that donuts can make someone’s day a little sweeter.
