We are happy to update that we will reopen tomorrow for our normal operating hours! We want to thank everyone for your support as we’ve navigated the situation with the ice and snow.

While the lot has been scraped clean, some water is still standing and could refreeze tonight, so please use extreme caution in potentially icy areas.

Please note that due to delayed deliveries from weather conditions, it is possible that our menu tomorrow will differ slightly from what is usually available. Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to see you tomorrow!

Customers, After assessing the state of our parking lot, we do not feel comfortable welcoming you all back to Douglas and Company tomorrow, Monday, February 2.

While we would love to re-open and welcome you in, we do not want to put any of you in a position where you are risking your safety while walking into our business. Due to this, we will remain temporarily closed.

We are actively working to improve the layers of ice that have taken over our parking lot, but it is a difficult task when the weather is working against us. You have watched our page as we have closed to protect our employees the last few days, and we now need to close to protect all of you. Your safety is important to us. We know everyone wants to be let back in to our food line, and we will happily welcome you when it is safe for us to do so!

We are very hopeful that we will reopen on Tuesday, February 3, with clear sidewalks and a parking lot that can be safely navigated. Please stay tuned for updates.

We are going to go ahead and call it— Douglas and Company will be closed Wednesday, January 28 due to inclement weather. We will continue to post updates here as decisions are made. May dreams of turkey and dressing keep you warm until we see you again! 😋🍴

As we announced on December 16, we are indefinitely pausing our pit offerings and altering our menu. The attached updated menu reflects the changes for Friday and Saturday options. In lieu of our pit offerings, we now will serve flounder, fried shrimp, and fried oysters on Fridays. On Saturdays, we will now serve hamburger steaks with gravy and fried pork chops. We thank you all again for your understanding. Your comments of kindness and support are encouraging!
