Alright y’all… we’ve been deep in the kitchen working through recipes, testing flavors, burning through butter, and probably consuming an unhealthy amount of “quality control.”

I wanted to share one of the dishes we’ve been workshopping for the Blush dessert menu.

This is our Peach Cobbler with my signature brown butter biscuit crumble topping and a peach bourbon caramel.

High-end Southern comfort with a little attitude. Sweet peaches, rich brown butter, warm bourbon notes, crispy edges… the kind of dessert that makes you close your eyes after the first bite and reconsider your life choices.

Now before anybody comes for me — this is NOT likely how it’ll be plated for service. This is recipe testing mode. Cast iron, messy edges, straight-from-the-kitchen energy. But the flavor? Oh, the flavor is absolutely there.

Blush is going to be built around elevated Southern favorites done with heart, soul, and just enough recklessness to keep things interesting.

We’re getting close, and I can’t wait for y’all to taste what we’ve been creating.

We’re putting the finishing touches on blush and counting down the days until we welcome our first guests.

Beautiful spaces, handcrafted cocktails, delicious food, and an experience designed to be anything but ordinary.

And gentlemen... it might be time to get those sport coats to the dry cleaner. Date night is making a comeback. ✨

At Blush, we truly love families, children, and the memories that happen around a dinner table. That will always matter to us. 🤍

That’s why we’ll continue offering family-friendly seating beginning at 5 PM each evening.

However, after 7 PM, Blush plans to transition into an 18+ experience designed to create the elevated, intimate atmosphere many guests have been asking for..a place for date nights, celebrations, conversation, cocktails, music, and a slower dining experience.

This trend is becoming increasingly popular across the restaurant industry, especially in evening dining environments where guests are looking for a more curated atmosphere. Recent surveys even show strong support for adults-only evening dining experiences, including among parents themselves.

We understand this may not be for everyone, and that’s okay. Our goal is simply to create different experiences at different times of the evening so guests can choose what fits them best.
We’re excited to bring something unique to our area while still welcoming families during our earlier seating hours. 🥂

Blush is about more than beautiful cocktails and great food — it’s about creating experiences that bring people together. That’s why we’re excited to officially welcome Jennifer Rose as Sous Chef at Blush.

Jennifer’s love for cooking began early in her grandmother’s restaurant in Miami, learning alongside her Colombian grandmother and Italian step-grandfather, where she discovered the power of food, family, and hospitality. From rolling pizza dough by hand as a child to studying Culinary Arts at the Culinary Institute of Charleston, her passion has grown into a career built through fine dining, resort hospitality, catering, and high-volume kitchens across Charleston.

Her love for food goes beyond the kitchen. Through travels to Brazil and The Bahamas, Jennifer immersed herself in local cooking traditions and learned firsthand how deeply food connects culture and community.

Jennifer brings creativity, leadership, experience, and heart to the Blush kitchen, and we couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead.

She joins us with over 15 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, paired with a grounded, people‑first approach shaped by her professional background in education and leadership. Chelsea is passionate about creating memorable guest experiences and cultivating a team culture rooted in warmth and excellence.

Chelsea immediately felt the energy and vision behind Blush and knew she wanted to be part of what’s happening here. She’s excited to bring her spark into a space with enough personality to make the whole town blush.
