🔥 ONE BUSY WEEK FOR BBQ DADDY! 🔥

The BBQ Daddy Food Truck & Trailer are hitting the road for a packed week of great food, community events, and one very special cause!

🎡 Monday–Saturday: Find us at the St. Clair County 4-H & Youth Fair serving up your BBQ Daddy favorites alongside the carnival, petting zoo, rodeo, horse exhibitors, livestock, farm museum, Splash pad, and more!

🌭 Wednesday: We are proud to host our biggest charity event of the season — Coney’s For Kids at Veterans Memorial Park in St. Clair Shores!

This is hands-down one of our favorite events every year as we crank out more than 2,000 coney dogs, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the Adaptive Recreation Program for individuals with special needs.

🏊 Also Wednesday, we’ll be at Lakefront Park Pool feeding the swimmers and families during the Grosse Pointe / St. Clair Shores swim competition!

🎉 Saturday Night: We’ll wrap up the week at the Downtown St. Clair Shores Social District, bringing plenty of BBQ to keep the party going all night long without closing early !

Happy Father’s Day to all the BBQ Daddy’s out there!

Today we honor the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, mentors, and father figures who help shape our children, our families, and our communities.

For me, I was blessed with the greatest mentor I could ever ask for — my father, Bob Skurda.

My dad taught me how to treat people right, even when they may have crossed me the wrong way. He taught me how to love my family, how to love my children, how to stay disciplined, and how to never give up — even when life feels like it’s all falling down around you.

When my father was diagnosed with dementia, one of the things he said was that he “never wants to forget his family because they are everything.” That has stayed with me forever.

As he battles this terrible disease, he continues to hold on to the memory of the beautiful family he built with my mother, my sisters, and his grandchildren. That right there is the true definition of love, strength, and legacy.

My dad also gave me my love of baseball. He taught me what it means to compete — not just in sports, but in business and in life. He is everything to me and a true role model.

As I go through some of the hardest times in my personal life, I hold tightly to the principles he instilled in me, and most importantly, to the love of Jesus — knowing that everything will be fine when you give it all to Him.

So today, from our BBQ Daddy family to yours, we celebrate the dads who show up, lead with love, fight through storms, and leave a legacy that lasts forever.

Happy Father’s Day to all the BBQ Daddy’s out there!

We are fired up to announce that BBQ Daddy will be serving in the VIP Fuel Pass Rooftop Section at Center Garage all Grand Prix weekend!
Join us Friday, May 29th, Saturday, May 30th, and Sunday, May 31st from 10 AM to 9 PM for a special BBQ Daddy menu featuring favorites like:

🍠 Sweet Potato Fries
🍰 Tennessee Tumble Cake
This rooftop section is going to be one of the hottest spots at the Grand Prix — the only live music venue, an insane rooftop view of the race, and BBQ Daddy bringing that Southern Style Smokin’ flavor to the Motor City!

⚾🔥 Baseball, BBQ, and big-league dreams!

Today BBQ Daddy hung out with Detroit Tigers rookie sensation Kevin McGonigle at his first professional autograph signing — and what an awesome young man. Kevin was generous, gracious, and you can tell he’s playing the game we love the right way, while living out every kid’s baseball dream.

To show our respect for how hard he plays the game, BBQ Daddy will be creating a new menu item inspired by Kevin! Stay tuned… this one’s going to be a home run. 💪⚾🍖

Huge thanks to Steve and DC Sports for putting on such a great event. We had a blast today!
