21 YEARS AT 348 HOPE STREET! 🥂 🎉
On April 4, 1968, Angie and Charlie Viscardi, fulfilled a lifelong dream when they opened Viscardi’s Colonial Inn in Old Greenwich. People didn’t just come for the food—they came for the warmth, the hospitality, and the genuine care our family had for every single guest. Over time, many of those guests became lifelong friends… exactly what my grandparents had hoped for. When the doors closed in 2003, we were left with incredible memories and a community that felt like family.
Then, on April 28, 2005, that legacy continued. Dede and Peter Tripolitsiotis, along with their brother, Uncle Corky Viscardi, opened Trips’ Restaurant—bringing that same spirit back to life.
For the past 21 years, Trips’ has been a place where people come together—whether you’re celebrating the best moments, getting through the tough ones, or just grabbing a burger at the bar. It’s a place where you’ll always see a familiar face.
Now, as the fourth generation, we’re excited to keep building those memories with all of you. So come see us, be a part of the family—and thank you for your support, not just for 21 years, but for generations.
And as our YiaYia Angie always said: “Try to communicate.”
