UPDATE! Disregard us being open for 4th of July.. CLOSED THIS SATURDAY! The 209 community really came through this past week. We felt the love. We’re gonna take an extra rest day and be back at it on Monday!

Ok ok ok.. WOW!! We woke up this morning with over 100k views on our last post, a lot has reached far beyond outside of California. MANY DMs saying we should start a GoFundMe since they physically can’t come support. Although we would rather get support by having guests dine-in, order take-out, or purchase a gift certificate for a future meal. We can’t simply ignore other alternatives. Please share it! Again, we are forever grateful for the amount of love and support we have gotten online.

LONG POST WARNING

I don’t normally ask for help like this, but I’m going to be honest.

The last few weeks have been incredibly slow for us. I know a big reason is probably because our AC has been down, and I completely understand that. Nobody wants to sit in a warm restaurant during a Stockton summer.

For those who don’t know me, I’m the owner here at Masa. My family and I have poured everything we have into this restaurant. Like many small businesses, every customer that walks through our doors genuinely makes a difference.

If you’ve ever enjoyed a meal with us, I’m asking for a small favor. Please share Masa with your friends, family, coworkers, or anyone looking for a local restaurant to support. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram if you haven’t already.

And if you’ve dined with us recently and had a good experience, a review on Google or Yelp would mean the world to us. Those reviews help new customers find us and can have a bigger impact than most people realize.

Running a small restaurant isn’t easy, and there are days when it feels like we’re fighting an uphill battle. But we’re still here, still working hard, and still doing our best to serve great food every day.

We heard some of our guests, so we got some in stock!

Nothing like having a cold glass of beer with our food, but also trying to be responsible at the same time. We totally respect that!

Originally we were going to give a decent amount of a notice for our new hours of operation, but starting tonight, we have made a few small changes. Monday - Thursday for dinner, we’ll now be open at 5pm instead of 5:30pm. We’ll close at 9pm and seat our last guests by 8:30pm. Friday and Saturday nights will remain the same. 5:30pm - 10:00pm..
