Most coffee you’re drinking is already past its prime ☕️

If your coffee beans look shiny when you open the bag, those oils have already been pushed out of the bean and once exposed, they can go rancid fast. That “oily bean” look people think is fresh? It’s usually a sign the coffee is old or over-roasted.

Fresh coffee hits different.

Meanwhile Jordan’s over here talking coffee science while hanging drywall for the new ceiling 😂☕️🔨

What do your coffee beans look like when you open the bag?

Kona coffee, Panamanian typica, and the farmers caught in the middle.

The reality? Some of the same typica coffee varieties grown in Panama have been resold at premium Kona prices for decades. So we decided to put them side by side and let YOU decide.

Would you spend $100 on a bag of Kona… or $20 on an honest, delicious Panamanian typica? 🇵🇦🌋

For decades, coffee from Panama has quietly been shipped to Hawaii, relabeled, and sold as Kona coffee.

The farmers here did the work. The coffee grew here. But the recognition and the price tag went somewhere else.

So we decided to tell the story honestly.

We bought a beautiful Typica harvest from our neighbors here in Panama, the same style of coffee that was being resold as “Kona” and released it under the name Panama as a tribute to the producers who deserved the credit all along. 🇵🇦☕️

And because we want people to taste the difference for themselves, every bag of Panama comes with a small FREE bag of real Hawaiian Kona coffee from a small farm in Hawaii.

Two coffees. Two origins. Total transparency.

So the question is:
Would you spend $100 on Kona… or $20 on an honest, delicious Panamanian Typica?

Dialing in the perfect pour over ☕️

Grind size changes everything. Too fine, and your coffee bed turns muddy from excess fines leading to bitterness and over-extraction. Too coarse, and your brew can taste weak or overly acidic.

What you’re looking for is balance: a clean coffee bed with a slight shimmer, steady drawdown, and a cup that tastes sweet, vibrant, and balanced.

The best tool? Your taste buds. Keep experimenting, keep tasting, and you’ll learn exactly what your coffee needs. 🌱✨

Intention shows up in the everyday moments that are easy to overlook. The way you start your morning, how you move through your day, the extra care you put into something simple, those small moments quietly shape everything. It’s easy to rush past them, but when you slow down and stay present, you start to see how much they matter, and how those intentional moments are what build something meaningful over time.

Yesterday we competed in Panama for the Brewer’s Cup. not only did we place in the top six and are moving on to the next round, but it felt like a perfect reflection of all the small, intentional choices that lead to life changing moments over time. it comes from showing up day after day, staying intentional, and trusting that the work will speak when the time comes.
