This weekend marks one year since we re-opened the Strasburg Creamery and General Store. It’s been a full year, and in many ways it feels like we’ve been talking about, working on, and pouring in to our company for much longer. It’s been a lot of work and a lot of fun!

We’re grateful for our incredible team of young, eager, enthusiastic employees. If you’ve visited Strasburg Creamery and General Store, you know we have some of the best, led by Zach Guyer (a truly exemplary manager who pours in to our staff and the community). Well done, guys!

We wouldn’t be celebrating an amazing first year if it weren’t for the customers who visit us from near and far. We served an estimated 100,000 guests in the past 12 months, and your patronage, smiles, and encouragement motivated us daily. Fun fact: our top selling flavors this year were Vanilla, Cookies & Cream, and Peanut Butter Cup. You just can’t beat a classic!

We were once local kids who loved getting a scoop of our favorite ice cream flavor on a homemade waffle cone at the Strasburg Creamery. Now we’re getting to continue the legacy of serving up sweet treats and nostalgic experiences to our community (and visitors to Strasburg) on the daily. What an adventure!

We’ll see you this July 4th from 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. to celebrate our one year anniversary and our nation’s 250th “birthday!” Of course we have some special scoops planned to commemorate the event (stay tuned).

Thanks again for your support this past year. Here’s to at least 250 more 😉🇺🇸!

With summer temps in the forecast, we decided to whip up a new, refreshing beverage for you all.

Introducing the STRAWBERRY SUNSET!

A fizzy orange soda is poured over ice, topped with fresh strawberry purée (made in-house with sweet, local berries), then finished with a generous swirl of coconut cream cold foam.
