Pppssst!
Its your favorite book lover, caffeine fiend gnomie's birthday today!!
She really is all that and a bag of chips, thank you Mae for providing some of the greatest coffee, reading material and funky goodies anybody could wish for in two awesome locations there at the Kettle as well as Smitten Bookstore

(She has no idea I am posting this, but making sure she knows she is loved from the East Coast.)
With love,

Hey everyone, with tomorrow’s nationwide shutdown looming, we’ve made the difficult decision to stay open. While we all here at RKC agree that the unconstitutional actions of our federal government need to be halted immediately, we simply cannot afford the loss of income from a day’s closure. However, in solidarity with the cause, we’re asking our customers to please pay with cash (to keep the fees out of the credit card companies pockets), and we will be donating 20% of the day’s sales to . We love all of you, and can never thank you enough for all of your support. -Dan
