Let’s talk about the uncomfortable truth.

Su***de is one of the 10 leading causes of death in the U.S. Most people who die by su***de are men. More than half of Americans have been touched by a su***de loss.

Here’s the other uncomfortable truth: most of us don’t know what to say, so we say nothing. That silence is what we’re walking against.

Su***de is preventable. Asking someone directly, “Are you thinking about su***de?” does not put the idea in their head. It opens a door to help.

Find Muffy at the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention's Out of the Darkness Walk this Sunday, Oct 25. Walk, donate, or just come say hi!
📍 Gahagan Park, Summerville
🕧 Check-in 12:30 PM | Walk 3:30 PM

If you or someone you know is in crisis, call or text 988 (veterans: press 1), chat at , or text TALK to 741741.

Pie season is here at The Rustic Muffin.

We’re now taking pre-orders for whole pies and cheesecakes, made from scratch in our Summerville kitchen:

Pecan Pie ($30): a classic Southern pecan filling in a flaky, hand-crimped crust.
Pumpkin Pie ($27): smooth, spiced pumpkin filling, a fall staple.
Dutch Apple Pie ($34): spiced apples under a thick, buttery crumb topping.
New York Cheesecake ($50): rich and creamy on a graham crust, available classic or topped with apple crumble and caramel drizzle.

Everything is made to order, so please give us at least 24 hours’ notice, more if possible.

Planning for Thanksgiving? Order early, because holiday spots are limited.

Stop by 1915 State Rd in Summerville to place your order, or visit therusticmuffin.com
