Let me just say this...
I understand that not everyone likes AI. I understand some people would rather see professionally designed advertisements or artwork, and that's perfectly okay. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
But here's the reality for some of us small business owners. We're not big corporations with thousands of dollars to throw around for professional designers and marketing teams. We're a small, family-run business, and honestly, we're barely getting by some days. We're working hard, doing the best we can with what we have, and trying to grow something we've put our hearts into.
If AI is the tool we have available to help us create advertisements and promote our little business right now, then that's what we're going to use. Maybe one day we'll be in a position to hire professionals for everything, but right now we're doing the best we can with the resources we have.
If you don't like what I create, that's okay! You're entitled to your opinion. You can simply scroll past, or you can choose to support us. Nobody is forcing anyone to do either.
But here's the funny part... if you stop on my post, comment on it, react to it, or share it, you're actually helping get my little business noticed. So thank you for the extra engagement, hun! I genuinely appreciate it! πβ€οΈ
What's NOT okay is the growing trend of people going out of their way to ridicule, insult, and harass others who are simply trying their best. And it's not just happening to me. I'm seeing it happen to other small businesses and everyday people, too.
That's the sad part. People are out here trying to make an honest living, promote community events, and build something for their families, and instead of encouragement, they're met with criticism and nastiness.
You don't have to like everything someone does, but you can certainly be kind about it.
We're going to keep showing up, keep working hard, keep making lemonade, and keep doing the best we can with what we have. And we're not going to apologize for that. πβ€οΈ
Small businesses need support, not perfection.
