We’ve got all sorts of good things growing on the farm right now, from spinach to beets, celery to carrots; but one of our customers’ favorites is Nic’s salad mix. A combination of several sweet lettuces (plus pea shoots for extra flavor and texture), it’s so delicious that I have, hand on heart, known kids who eat it straight out of the bag like candy. And thanks to our hoop houses, we can grow it year round, even here in Northern Michigan 🌱

(For anyone wondering—the shakshuka was exquisite. Potatoes, red peppers, and feta in a spicy tomato sauce, topped with cilantro and poached eggs, and served with toasted sourdough. Served all day!)
