The Village will be closing at 5:00 today, Wednesday December 31 as we are out of food to serve! Thank you for your overwhelming show of support, we are truly grateful.

Once again your support blew us out of the water. We are out of most items and are going to have to be closed for today. It’s important for me that your last few visits are done right so we need to time to prepare. We will be open Monday and Tuesday. Yes, we are discussing a recipe book as well! We have been feeling the love! Thank you to our amazing customers who have been showing their support before we say goodbye. Due to this outpouring we are out of…well, everything. We need to take the morning to prep more food and replenish our stock and will open today at 4:00 to serve you for dinner. Everything will be hot and fresh!

It is with mixed emotions that we announce our decision to close the doors of The Village Restaurant. For the past four years, we have cherished the opportunity to share the flavors of our family’s recipes with new friends here in Sycamore. We cannot overstate how much the support, encouragement, and loyalty of our community have meant to us.
As we move forward, we will be refocusing our efforts on the Sycamore State Theater, where we have big dreams and exciting plans ahead.
The Village’s last day of business will be Wednesday, December 31. Any gift cards purchased at The Village will continue to be honored at the Sycamore State Theater after that date.
Makie and the entire Village staff extend our heartfelt thanks to all of our customers and supporters for making these past four years so meaningful.
