Every year I try to make something special for my girls on their birthdays! This year my youngest is way into Fugglers 😆

She requested a cookie cake and the colors, but I didn’t tell her how I was going to decorate it. I’m very happy to report that she loved it 🥰

I don’t typically take on characters that are well known-because if you make even the tiniest mistake it’s noticeable!! But I’ve been a fan of SpongeBob since it started so really wanted to try!

What do you do when you have extra time on your hands?

I make homemade Circus animal cookies 😊

These tasted 10 times better than store bought!! Try them for yourself-

🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷
Copycat Circus Animal Cookies

1 cup softened butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons of honey
1 egg
Vanilla (measured with your heart 😉)
1 tsp almond extract
2 cups All purpose flour
Dash of cinnamon

1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Cream butter, sugars and honey until well combined.
3. Add egg and extracts and mix.
4. Slowly add flour and cinnamon until completely combined.
5. Roll out dough onto a floured surface and cut out whatever shapes your heart desires 💗
6. Place cookies onto a baking sheet and bake for 6-9 min, depending on the size of your cookie. These were smaller so they took less time. Watch for browning on the edges of the cookie!
7. Let cookies cool completely. Once cooled, dip in melted white chocolate and top with sprinkles while still wet.
8. Let chocolate harden and ENJOY!
