🍾EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT🍾
We want to start this announcement by saying this isn’t something we expected to happen so soon, but when the opportunity presented itself we decided it would be too good for us to let pass by.
First things first, we want to thank the backbone of Peacock Bar & Grill, our incredible staff.
To our Chefs: Your loyalty, hard work, countless hours, willingness to try and make some of the craziest creations work, and love for your craft has never gone unnoticed. Without each and every one of you, none of our visions for some of the most insane food creations and specials would have ever been possible. All of you have shown us through the years what it means to be a master of your craft. There were times when things definitely weren’t easy, despite this none of you showed any wavering in not only your faith in us, but yourselves. We wish words were enough to thank you for everything that you’ve done no matter how big or small, but there probably isn’t enough of anything on the planet to express our gratitude to each of you.
To our Bartenders:
Some of you have known us and been apart of our lives before our doors even opened. You put your undoubted faith in making a vision come true and that’s exactly what you’ve done. There were (multiple) times when an idea turned into some of the most insane combinations, from turning an ordinary fish bowl into a sticky Halloween treat, to making a regular martini a dessert and drink all in one. Despite all of this, none of you were ever unwillingly to adapt on the spot and make it happen. Having to work under pressure, at such a fast pace, day in and out, and do it all while smiling is a talent on its own. But being able to execute all of this while our creations were at a constant change and never even considering giving up is genuinely something that we will forever be indebted to you for. Thank you times ♾️.
To our Servers:
The faces of our little hidden gem. You’ve worked through every type of weather New York has to throw at you, every malfunction you can think of, & any and everything that can fit on top of a glass, with a level of tenacity that deserves recognition of it’s own. You’re truly the oil to our machine. You’ve come in not knowing what we were going to throw your way, but never once did any of you question any of it. You’ve geared up and gone at each and every day like a challenge you were willing to overcome. You’ve formed bonds with not only the rest of us but our customers as well. They’ve grown to love and appreciate you and everything you do just as we have. Please don’t ever think anything you’ve done has gone unnoticed. From any interactions with our customers, to something as simple as finding an easier way to complete a mundane daily task, you are appreciated through it all. Nothing you’ve done is taken for granted.
To our Dishwashers (aka Mr Wing):
You have one of the most important and simultaneously grueling responsibilities in our entire establishment, but with your character you would never know it. While not all of us have become proficient in Wing-lish, your personality is something each of us looks forward to everyday. You make everyone you talk to laugh uncontrollably and you’re someone whose presence is missed when you’re absent. We love you Wing.
There’s been a lot on all of your plates the last few years. We’ve shared laughs, tears, overcoming feats in our lives, shared our accomplishments, and become a family. We truly want you to know that each and every one of you individually, matter to us more than words could describe. You have made Peacock Bar & Grill what it is today. None of this could’ve been accomplished without you.
Now to all of you.
The love that you have shown our little hole in the wall place tucked away in Cicero NY is overwhelming. We want to thank all of you for everything. For all the love, the support, the criticism, the patience, the guidance. We’ve seen so many of you through Birthdays & Anniversaries, Retirements & Promotions, First Dates, and Graduations, and it means more to us than we could ever express that you chose our little place for it all. You’ve guided us to become the place we pride ourselves on being today whether it be from a like online to a comment in house. You have made us who we are, and it’s exactly who we wanted to be.
This brings us to why we’re making this post in the first place… We’re excited to announce —
🎉WE’RE MOVING & EXPANDING🎉
(we know — longgggg overdue)
We didn’t see this coming at all, but our lease on our current location is up and a location we had our eyes on became available recently. The timing seemed to be a sign and we decided we couldn’t let this pass us by. The only downside to this however, is having to close our doors and saying goodbye for now until our new location is complete.
❗️We will be closing our doors April 13th 2024.❗️
Although we don’t have a definite re-opening date just yet, our new location is set to open Fall of 2024. We are so excited for this new venture and to take you along on the journey, so please keep your eyes PEELED for updates and an opening date as we get closer.
Once again thank you to each and every one of you who have made this possible for us. Thank you for the memories, the experiences, the celebrations, and everything in between. Although it’s a bittersweet feeling to leave a place we have accomplished so much in, we cannot wait to see not only what you have in store for us at our new home, but what we have for you.
This isn’t a “goodbye”, it’s a “See you Soon!”
