CLOSED until SEPTEMBER 9th.
I think I do this every year. I've decided to close up for the rest of the week to get a jump start on the holiday weekend. About 90% of the folks on campus will be working from home so I would like to get in some downtime while I have the chance. School starts back up on September 25th and we all know I'll be working my tail off then.

Summer quarter wraps up at the end of this week. Which means things will be much slower on campus. I am going to take advantage of that and work in a few long weekends. I will be CLOSED the next four Fridays. Depending on how the days go I may decide to close an extra day or close earlier on some days. You can always check google I update the hours on there to include any changes.

Good morning and happy Friday. The beginning of next week might be a little wonky due to a scheduled power outage Tuesday August 6th. We will be closed that day and refrigeration will be out. That means that Monday I won't have sandwiches and will just bring in a couple gallons of milk for that day. I'll do my best to get the right amount but may run out and close early.

LET THERE BE LIGHT!!
The power is back! BUT we need an inspection from the Health Dept before we can open the doors. I was able to make an appointment for Tuesday morning. After that Josh and I will go grab some fresh milk and supplies.

METRO WILL REOPEN @ 7:30 WEDNESDAY!!
I am really excited to put this all behind me and looking forward to seeing you again soon.

On Saturday July 6th a tragic car accident knocked out the major power source for the UWT campus. We have been unable to open in the mean time as we are without electricity. Fortunately power is to be restored over the weekend and campus will reopen on Monday. BUT Metro will need an extra day while we wait for refrigeration to return to proper temperature. Once that happens I will need time to get product back in. At this time I am hoping to return on TUESDAY JULY 23rd. I will make an additional announcement on Monday to confirm.

While I have been at home the last week and a half it doesn't feel like a vacation and in fact has been very stressful with alot of uncertainty. Hopefully I can relax a little now that we have an opening date.
Looking forward to seeing you all soon.
