Hi friends! We are leaving out this weekend for our new/old home in Alaska and wanted to share a local business new to the Buffalo Valley/southeast Oklahoma area: Empty Pockets! If you have a sewing machine in need of repair or tune-up, contact these guys to take good care of you and your machine. They have years of experience and can work on rarely used machines, as well as more intricate, highly expensive machines. They are currently working on machines from all over Oklahoma and would love to work on yours!

We were very much looking forward to being at the Buy at the Y event, as this would be our last event before we closed. We wanted to have an enjoyable day with the community, sharing laughs and serving delicious drinks. We have made the bittersweet decision to go back to Alaska. Guys, it’s too hot here for us 🥵 kidding, well sort of. It is what is best for our little family. We wanted to stay here and run the coffee truck, but we miss Alaska and that’s all our kids have ever known. So for now, we are going back to the land of polar bears, bowhead whales, and wolverines.

Thank you all for your support the last several months, we have loved seeing and meeting everyone!

We apologize if the cancellation of our event didn’t get out to everyone. I posted twice that it was canceled but Facebook posts don’t always get seen because of their algorithms. Anyways, we were concerned about dangerous storms and wanted to be considerate of each vendors items and the work they put into them, and were concerned the rain and storms may damage things.

We will plan to hold this event next weekend, the same weekend as the Kiamichi Buy-Way, June 10, ALL DAY RAIN OR SHINE. Again, there’s no fee to set up, just bring your tables and tents or whatever you might need and pick a spot at the Y.

Don’t miss it this weekend! There’s still room for vendors, and no fee to set up! We are working on a drawing for a gift...

Don’t miss it this weekend! There’s still room for vendors, and no fee to set up! We are working on a drawing for a gift basket to be given away Saturday with the proceeds going towards the upkeep of the Y. The Y is cleaned up by volunteers, so we’d like to help the volunteers with mower gas money.
