Tomorrow, we want to close out our Sunday dining days with two of our customer favorite meals: Hamburger Steak for $16.95 and Chitterlings for $23.95. It has been a pleasure serving you every Sunday for the last 5 plus years. We thank each person who has dined with us and look forward to serving you one last time before our transition. LONG POST ALERT:🚨

In 2020, in the midst of the global pandemic, our family took a leap of faith to start Segar’s Legacy Event Center with specific goals in mind: honor God, honor the family and our matriarch, provide high quality food items that reminded people of home, provide a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment for families to enjoy a home cooked meal, and provide high quality service within a small locality that could rival a chain restaurant. We loved every minute of welcoming old friends into our family restaurant every weekend and meeting new neighbors along this five year journey. We’ve learned what our faithful customers love and how to improve upon our business model. Most importantly, we are learning to listen to when change is needed.

So, we aren’t saying goodbye, BUT we’re looking forward to new beginnings in 2026! Change takes time, so we’re OPEN today AND Sunday, December 28 as a restaurant. We’ll still meet our catering and event contracts and obligations… BUT during the months of January and February, we’re closing our doors as a restaurant. We need time to envision and execute what Segar’s Legacy’s future looks like and to bring the same excitement and consistency to the work that we began five short years ago. Our values are the same… but we’re looking forward to a bigger, brighter, and bolder EXPERIENCE in 2026. Greater is coming!! Get ready!!

Please know that above all else, we have and will always value YOU as customers and extended family members. We value every dollar spent in our building and love seeing your faces in our business. So hurry back soon!!
