Portuguese American Civic Club The PACC is open to the public. Bar & lounge located downstairs offering food, drinks, lottery, ATM, The Taunton Portuguese-American Civic Club, Inc.

was founded in 1929. The Club was formed to provide a place of gathering for members of Portuguese descent within the Greater Taunton area. The original goal of the club was the promotion of fellowship within the Portuguese-American community, we've since opened our doors to anyone Portuguese or otherwise who chooses to join. The club sponsors scholarships to deserving high school seniors, promote

s civic groups and events. We support and sponsor many athletic organizations and charities. We also have an annual golf tournament and kid's Christmas party for the members of the club.

Tonight we proudly celebrated our 2026 Portuguese American Civic Club Scholarship Award recipients at our annual awards night.

Each year, this special evening is made possible through the hard work, dedication, and generosity of so many individuals who support our scholarship program and our students. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed their time and effort to help make this event such a memorable success.

A special thank you goes to our Club President and Chairman of the Scholarship Committee, John Arruda, for his continued leadership, commitment, and countless contributions to the club throughout the years. His dedication to supporting our youth and strengthening our community is sincerely appreciated by all.

On behalf of everyone at the PACC, along with all those who generously support and donate to this program year after year, we are honored to recognize these outstanding students and their achievements.

Congratulations to our 2026 PACC Scholarship Award recipients. We wish each of you continued success and happiness in all your future endeavors. Thank you all for helping make this program possible year after year.
