Collaborating with other local business owners has been a really fun aspect since Smash Sweets came about! It’s even better when we work together to support a local family, a fellow blue family, who is deeply hurting. I was honored that PosieWild | Whimsical Florals | Craft Mocktails asked me to work together with Kendra Scott to put together “coffee + donuts” carriers for a fundraising effort. They shared an inspiration picture with me and my wheels instantly starting turning, dreaming of if I could pull off transforming my normal cake pop into “donuts”. Y’all I couldn’t have been more thrilled with the result! 💕

This order was a special one as they were for local deaf+hard of hearing campers to enjoy during a Mario themed day at camp! Fun fact: For those of you who don’t know, I am an American Sign Language Interpreter, so I’ve had several coworkers who volunteer as staff,but I haven’t had the opportunity to serve in that way yet. To be able to support the DHH community in this way was dear to my heart! 🤟

When you are given creative liberty to make the sweets for a garden party with whimsical vibes that feels like you took a step back into time…this is the result ❤️

What a fun challenge this was to try some new recipes + not get too carried away with too many options. I was pleasantly surprised with how lovely these treats turned out. Which treat would you have gravitated towards?!
