Tuesday and the living is easy!! It’s a beautiful morning ~ the aroma of baking bread, coffee on the porch and Skully mowing the grass!! Well, trying to mow. Would probably be easier if he had a little more meat on his bones!! Or bread!! Fresh Sourdough Bread and Burger Buns available today, after 11:00, at The Local Press. Monday. Three baby deer in the yard this morning ~ momma taught them well, the slightest sound and they headed for cover. Pretty quiet other than the crows. The aroma of frying bacon is teasing me into the kitchen ~ time to make the bread!! And a Lemon-Blueberry Cake, a few Poptarts and maybe some donuts. I should open a bakery!! Ahhhhhhhhh, Sunday!! Rejoice - Refuel - Relax. And thank the Lord for peaches 🍑!! French Toast with fresh peach sauce in the making ~ it’s going to be a great day in the neighborhood!! The rhythm of the falling rain made it virtually impossible to get out of bed this morning but when the kitchen is teasing with fresh peaches 🍑 for Peach Hand Pies, lemons 🍋 and blueberries 🫐 for Sourdough Lemon Sweet Rolls and Lemon-Blueberry Cake what’s a girl to do?!?
