Tomorrow’s a pretty special day at Tega Cay Coffee Co.

Here are 3 facts about tomorrow:

1️⃣ We’re officially launching the new Breakfast Jam
Tomato & onion jam, medium egg, bacon or sausage, pickled onion, and basil aioli on ciabatta. It’s messy in the best way possible.

2️⃣ It’s our TWO YEAR anniversary of opening the shop 🎉
What started as a coffee cart has turned into a community we’re incredibly proud of. Thank you for every coffee run, breakfast stop, long line patience, kind review, and early morning with us. Seriously.

3️⃣ We’ll be OPEN regular hours all day for Memorial Day 🇺🇸
But more importantly, we want to remember what Memorial Day is actually about — honoring and remembering the men and women who gave their lives serving this country. We’re thankful for the freedoms and opportunities that allow small businesses like ours to exist in the first place.

That’s Megan from Made by Megan Jayne working behind the scenes — baking, prepping, and keeping this case full 7 days a week so you all have something amazing to grab with your coffee.

Slow-fermented sourdough, real ingredients, and incredible crust.

It’s the bread behind some of our breakfast sandwiches, toast, and a rising amount of the food coming out of our kitchen.

NOW HIRING IN THE KITCHEN

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented kitchen team member to join our growing operation.

This is a hands-on role focused on food preparation, cleanliness, organization, and maintaining high sanitation standards in an open kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:
• Daily food prep (proteins, produce, sauces, batch items)
• Cooking and assembling menu items to spec
• Maintaining strict cleanliness and sanitation standards
• Adhering to DHEC food safety guidelines
• Dishwashing and end-of-day breakdown
• Organizing storage, walk-in, and prep areas
• Assisting with inventory rotation (FIFO)

What We’re Looking For:
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Ability to work with urgency and consistency
• Pride in maintaining an organized station
• Understanding of food safety standards (or willingness to learn quickly)
• Reliable and punctual
• Previous kitchen experience preferred but not required

We operate an open kitchen where guests see everything. Professionalism and sanitation matter.

Part-time or full-time opportunities available.
Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
