This Wednesday was World Kindness Day and so we’re going to shout-out our assistant roaster Tess. Molly is Frank’s little dachshund, Frank is one of our regular beer drinking buddies at the end of days next door at . There’s few more delightful bonds than this one. You’ll see them at the brewery with Molly in Tess’ sweatshirt like a tiny baby kangaroo.

New Kenya in the house!
Available to purchase in-roastery and online.

Boasting a cupping score of 92, we are very excited about this Kenyan lot! Expect high notes of sweet and tart citrus from grapefruit and lemon to blood orange, complemented by black tea and subtle spice on top of a luscious mouthfeel.

The pointed brightness from a high acid coffee like Kenya Kirinyaga is really a treat and truly unique to the country and terroir from which it hails.

Kenyan coffees are best enjoyed as a filter offering (pour over, chemex, aeropress, drip) or as a vibrant espresso.

Horror Show weekend was another terrifically satisfying scare fest and now we all need to stretch for a week.

Regular life in town continues as we’re reacquainting our minds to scraping icy windshields again soon. For now, we are still in Halloween mode and enjoying the nice yellow that’s still around.

Hope you’re enjoying sweater-weather season - stay warm. Best way to do it is with hot caffeinated or decaffeinated water!! :P
We have new single origins on the site like our Yabitu Koba from Ethiopia and this Sumatra “Sessengot” Anaerobic which will make your whole kitchen smell like a bushel of berries. Check them out on our front page.
