Its time for all things Soup and Savory. This takes me back to when my grandma would always put a pot of beans on the stove with some cast iron cornbread.

In remembrance of my grandmother Lula Mae I will now have that pot of beans on my stove for u to enjoy.

“What I wish I knew before I launched my Food business…”

1.) Stay where u at and don't worry about getting a Brick and Mortar trust me u dont want the overhead. When u lease a space your responsible for any work that needs to be done to get your permits. Building Permits take at least 4 months at minimum so plan ahead cuz I didnt. That 4 months had me losing everything!

2.) Food Trucks are more work (u forgot u have to find somewhere to store all this stuff) Your limited to what u can sale. Make sure your consistent with your hours customers love knowing they never have to 2nd guess whether your open or not. Oh and last but not least LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!

3.) Find u a ghost kitchen location where u can make your own hours without restrictions. Pay just a flat monthly fee and be done with it! No utility expenses, and do the work yourself if u can so your payroll dont get out of control. Dont be lazy remember this your brand and your laziness will reflect in the taste of your food.

I say all this to say I have been around the world and back and learned lots of lessons. I've lost thousands of dollars just to come back to the basics. I am so thankful that Im able to tell the story to someone else that may be headed in the same direction but again people have to take that journey and learn for themselves. Just dont say I didnt tell u so!!!
