Porters at the Birchwood Inn is a scratch kitchen restaurant with a simple culinary philosophy: serve identifiable dishes done impeccably well with the best quality ingredients. Our chef, Nellie Belanger, grew up in Peterborough and remembers visiting the Birchwood for special occasions as a child. Her goal in the kitchen is to create a fun, family environment where the staff are empowered to make

your dining experience the very best it can be. You will find interesting spins on classic dishes, as well as creative flavor combinations that will surprise and delight. Fresh baked desserts, a satisfying Sunday brunch, and a variety of non-alcoholic beers and mocktails are just some of the highlights. Manager Darcy Conway also hails from the Monadnock region and has been Nellie's best friend for 35 years. Together they hope to bring the area a fun and unique dining experience perfect for date night, a casual lunch, or dinner with the family. Featuring dog-friendly outdoor seating as well as menu items made just for your four-legged friend, Porters is excited to welcome you and your canine companion.
