There’s never been a better time to have friends with fresh local produce! I mean, could these blackberries BE any more beautiful?

We’re getting as much of our fruits and veggies as we can from local growers, and you can too at the terrehautefarmersmarket.

This week, we have locally sourced blackberry parfaits, Thai basil in our curry-inspired pasta salad, strawberry rhubarb muffins, and we have sweet basil and tomatoes for caprese paninis.

Curious Magpies want to know - what are you reading this weekend? 🐦

This Magpie is trying to squeeze in some time with The Courting of Bristol Keats by Mary E. Pearson. She loves a bit of urban fantasy / high fae escapism, but isn’t sure yet how she feels about the multiple POV with “I know something and will tease it repeatedly without actually telling you anything useful.” But there’s still 70% of book left and she ain’t no quitter.

Mary Poppins is landing at Maple Avenue Theatre this weekend, and the winds have blown a new drink menu to The Magpies’ Nest!

These new drinks are practically perfect in every way! Which one will you try first?

🌂 Ginger Stars Latte with housemade ginger and shortbread syrups

🌂 Winds in the East, a lavender white chocolate mocha

🌂 Chim Chim Chai with a touch of brown sugar and cinnamon (try it “sooty” with a shot of espresso)

🌂 Rrrrum Punch! Italian soda with pineapple, orange and lemon

🌂 Step in Time Skyline lemonade with blueberry, vanilla, and a hint of cinnamon
