Although I didn't advance to the next round of Favorite Chef, my heart is full.

To every person who voted, shared my posts, encouraged me, prayed for me, and believed in me...thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support means more than you'll ever know.

This journey reminded me that success isn't always measured by a title. It's measured by the lives we impact, the relationships we build, and the opportunities God places before us.

Every vote, every kind word, and every act of encouragement fueled! me to keep dreaming bigger.

Looking back on one of my favorite celebrations! It was truly an honor for Shell Shocked Catering & Events to help bring Bishop Riley's 60th Birthday vision to life.

From welcoming guests during the Meet & Greet, creating an elegant Happy Hour Experience, designing our signature Grazing Table, crafting a Presidential Dessert Experience, presenting a custom birthday cake, and creating keepsake moments through our interactive selfie experience, every detail was thoughtfully planned with excellence.

Our goal has always been to create more than a meal—we create memorable experiences that bring people together and celebrate life's most meaningful moments.

✨ From the Desk of Chef Shell ✨

The school year has officially come to a close, and what a season it has been.

Over the last few weeks, I've balanced final exams, college grades, graduation activities, catering events, community service, preparing for summer bookings, and celebrating Major's 3rd birthday. There have been long days, late nights, and more Coca-Cola than I probably should admit.

As I reflect on this year, I'm grateful.

Grateful for my students who continue to grow and push themselves. Grateful for my clients who trust Shell Shocked Catering & Events with their special moments. Grateful for my family, friends, staff, and village who step in whenever the load gets heavy.

Being named Teacher of the Year was an honor I'll never forget, but the greatest reward is seeing students succeed, businesses grow, and dreams come to life through hard work and faith.

Summer is already off to a busy start, and I'm excited for what's ahead. New events, new opportunities, and new memories are waiting to be made.

The first picture was taken before church.

The second picture was taken after church.

Same outfit. Same woman. But a renewed spirit and a fresh reminder that God is not finished with me yet.

Today’s message confirmed what has been unfolding in my life: every gift God has given me is connected to a greater purpose—teaching, serving, creating opportunities, and helping others see possibilities they may not have recognized on their own.

Whether I’m mentoring students, catering an event, coaching a parent, organizing finances, or building my business, the common thread is leadership and service.

Everything I do is rooted in faith, fueled by purpose, and driven by my love for God, my family, and the desire to create opportunities for others.

Success is not just about making money. It is about making an impact, building a legacy, and using my gifts to serve.

And one thing I know for sure: God is not finished with me yet. 🙏🏽✨
