The Kennebec River Pub & Brewery is located at Northern Outdoors Adventure Resort in The Forks, Maine. The brewery is featured on the Maine Beer Trail, and offers a seasonal selection of handcrafted ales & lagers. These include Summer Ale, Sledhead Red, Magic Hole IPA, Deer-in-the-Head Lite, Whitewater Wheat, Kennebec Logger, Big Mama Blueberry Ale, Honey Badger Rye and Penobscot Porter. Enjoy a b

🍺Brew Day!! Kevin’s been busy keeping those taps flowing. 🧑‍🍳🍺

Here we see the transfer of liquid called “wort” from the mash tank to the kettle. Hot water is introduced from above while wort is extracted from the bottom of the mash tank. As the kettle fills heating elements are turned on bringing the wort to a boil, once this happens the first addition of hops are added.

Hanging out in The Forks? Come on by and see our little brewery for yourself. We’re in the basement of the restaurant at Nothern Outdoors and all are welcome to come take a peek through the big windows. 🍻

Meet Kattie! She’s a school teacher during the winter, but you can find her serving guests year-round here at the KRB Pub.

She’s sweet, smart and when she’s not working, she’s usually taking advantage of our on-site 20-person hot tub with a drink in hand.

Over the years, a lot has changed, but great beer, hard work and a passion for brewing have remained at the heart of what we do.

As we celebrate 30 years of Kennebec River Brewery, we’re grateful for the brewers, staff and guests who have helped make KRB what it is today.
