****A Heartfelt Thank You and Fundraiser Update****

We want to take a moment to thank each and every person who donated, shared, prayed, sent messages, or offered support following the loss of our beloved Mason. The outpouring of love from our community has been overwhelming and we are incredibly grateful.

We also want to provide an update in the spirit of transparency and appreciation for everyone who contributed.

When this fundraiser was created, the intention was to help Mason’s family with the expenses of laying him to rest. As plans developed, the family chose cremation rather than a traditional funeral service and burial. The funds raised have been used to help cover Mason’s cremation expenses, memorial-related costs , support for family members, and other unexpected expenses that accompanied this sudden tragedy.

We want everyone to know that 100% of all the funds received from this Go Fund Me account have and will go toward Mason’s arrangements and helping his family during this difficult time. Neither I nor Colonial Grind received, retained, or profited from any portion of these donations.

Because of your generosity, Mason’s family has been able to focus on grieving, healing, and honoring his memory without the added burden of financial stress. Your kindness has made a meaningful difference during one of the hardest times a family can face.

We would like to also extend our sincere gratitude to Misti Boles Whitman, of Citrin and Whitman P.A. of Thomasville, North Carolina for generously donating her time to help oversee the fundraiser. To ensure complete transparency and accountability, she was given full access to the Go Fund Me account and has assisted with monitoring the funds and coordinating disbursements to support Mason’s family. We are deeply grateful for her guidance, integrity and willingness to help during such a difficult time.

The good news? Sand Bucket Sundaes are officially BACK IN STOCK! 🎉 Grab your shovel and dig into layers of sweet summer goodness before they disappear again. These colorful buckets have become a favorite for kids (and plenty of adults too 😉), and we have a feeling they won’t stay around for long!

We are completely thankful & blown away all at once! We have sold out of sand bucket sundaes in less than two days!

On Friday, June 26th, Colonial Grind will briefly close from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM as we gather to celebrate the life of our beloved friend and team member, Mason Wisdom.

We will be open for normal business from 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM and will reopen at 7:00 PM until 10:00 PM. Please note that there will be no sales during the 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM closure period.

All who knew and loved Mason are welcome to join us in the Colonial Grind Event Space to celebrate his life. Complimentary cookies and light refreshments will be provided.

Thank you for your understanding, support, prayers, and kindness as we honor Mason’s memory and the impact he made on so many lives. ❤️
