🥛☕ Coffee Question of the Day!

Before you pour your milk… do you give it a little shake?

🙋‍♀️ I do… every single time! Honestly, I’m not even sure why anymore—it’s just something I’ve always done.

Now I’m curious…

👍 Yes, I always shake it.
❤️ Sometimes.
😄 Nope, I just pour.

Tell me… is it habit, did someone teach you to do it, or do you have another reason?

Let’s see how many milk shakers we have! 😄

🚨 Texas Health Alert: Cyclosporiasis Cases Increasing

Recent reports from the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) indicate a rise in cyclosporiasis cases across the state, and the issue has been in the news these past several days. This illness is caused by a parasite that can be found in contaminated food or water. Fresh produce most commonly linked to cyclosporiasis includes items such as cilantro, basil, parsley, lettuce, and berries.

Common symptoms include:
• Watery diarrhea that may last several days or longer
• Stomach cramps or abdominal pain
• Nausea
• Fatigue

🛡️ Steps to help protect yourself and your family:
✅ Thoroughly wash all fruits and vegetables before consumption
✅ Keep hands, utensils, and food preparation surfaces clean
✅ Practice safe food handling when preparing meals

If you experience symptoms after eating fresh produce—especially prolonged diarrhea—contact your healthcare provider. Seek medical attention promptly if you notice signs of dehydration (such as dizziness, dry mouth, or decreased urination), develop a fever, or if symptoms last more than a week or worsen over time.

Simple food safety habits can make a big difference in keeping your family healthy.
