It is with deepest sorrow that we share the unexpected passing of our beloved server, Mark Cruse. Our close-knit staff is truly heartbroken by this loss.
Mark’s friendly smile and jovial laughter made him a favorite among coworkers and customers alike. He never knew a stranger and had a gift for striking up a conversation with anyone, making every person feel welcome and valued.
For nearly 25 years, Mark was a cherished part of Mrs. Miller’s restaurant family. Mrs. Miller affectionately referred to him as her “leading man” and “the star of the show.” His presence brought light to every room, and we know we will never shine quite as brightly without our star.
More than a coworker, Mark was family to us. He leaves behind countless memories, laughter, and friendships that will stay with us always. We are grateful for the time we shared with him and for the joy he brought into our lives each day.
He will be deeply missed by all of us—his Wellington Grille and Harrison’s work family, his countless friends, and the many customers whose lives he touched so easily and sincerely over the years.
Funeral service arrangements will be shared as they become available, so that all who knew and loved Mark may honor his memory with us.
