Look to the sky later this morning and early afternoon! It's the 2026 AirVenture Cup Race, part of the activities associated with the AirVenture Show in Oshkosh. Below is the counter-clockwise course for the approximately 400 mile race. Planes are scheduled to go wheels up starting at 9AM from Wausau, weather permitting.

KTKV, the second to last checkpoint, is the airport designation for the Tomahawk Regional Airport. You can see the path to KTKV from KLNL (King's Land O' Lakes Airport) will take the participating aircraft over the Lake Nokomis area, as in past years.

Our two ice cream models head home today... here they are at their last Windmill visit. Older brother chose Mint Chip and Chocolate, while Miss Curly Locks enjoyed Sunset Rainbow Sherbet.

Starting out a sunny summer Saturday with several pie flavors: Banana Cream Pie, French Silk Pie, and Key Lime Pie. More of a cake person? We have Cake & Ice Cream in as well, with other "bakery" flavors on deck: Caramel Apple Crisp and Strawberry-Rhubarb Cobbler, as examples. And Pie-rate's Bounty!

Speaking of pirates, it's Pontoon Palooza Saturday on Lake Nokomis. You'll see decked-out deck boats and costumed customers, including pirates and many other characters out and about. Grab a cool treat and hang out on the trestle while applauding for your favorites!
