Hello All -
I would like to see if there is any customer interest in cakes or pies for the holidays? I was initially thinking of chocolate cake, carrot cake & pumpkin pie. Preorders would be by message, and pick up would be for Thanksgiving week. The Christmas season could be an option too if you guys are into it. Let me know, because Big Daddy is ready to bake again!

Our last Friday is here, and we have both our awesome front ladies here to help. They both wanted to express some thoughts & feelings about their Blueberries experience to our wonderful customers.

From Brynne:
"There isn’t a weekend I can remember that wasn’t spent at Blueberries these last eleven years... It’s been an honor to spend all that time alongside my dad and witness people enjoy his craft so much. I found my confidence here, I made so many friends here on both sides of the counter, and I learned more than anyone will ever know here. Even in the hard moments, it was the people I saw every weekend that made it better. Thank you for the connection, the conversation and the support. I look forward to spending one last weekend with you all! ❤️" -Brynne

From Oliver:
"One of my greatest joys is the ability to feed a community, and there is no place I’d rather serve than the community that Drew and his family have built here on the island.

I came in very late to the game-my one year of employment was just this past July-but all the regulars treated me with such kindness and respect from day one. This is because of the environment that the Victory’s built over the past decade and WOW will I miss it!

My time spent working at Blueberries this past year has been so rewarding and enjoyable, largely due to everyone who supported us! Thank you for everything!"

It's the end of an era. Blueberries will be closing permanently after Sunday, August 31st. It's been a long, challenging & fulfilling experience, but unfortunately the financial realities of running a breakfast cafe in our current location are no longer sustainable. The brutal and exponential increase in almost every cost has become too much to overcome. We will continue to offer our delicious food, tasty beverages and wonderful service for the rest of the summer, and we hope to see many of you again before the end. I will be writing a more detailed post as we near the closing, as I have so much more to say to our wonderful and dedicated customers & community! Thank you all for the support and understanding
