Giuseppe “Joe” Tramontana started his career in 1983 as a waiter at Roberto’s in Clifton, New Jersey

During his 10 years, he was promoted to manager
But couldn’t pass up the opportunity to manage
Cortina Restaurant in Paterson, NJ

7 years later... he opened Spiga in Wayne, NJ
to satisfy his desire to own a business

He expanded 8 years later with the opening of Segreto Ristorante
in prestig

ious Tenafly, NJ which featured a lounge and a full service bar

The Bergen Record rated Segreto 3 out of 4 Stars

Lasting 7 years, he sold the business and took an extended break but missed being a ‘restauranteur’

Together, with his wife Laura, he found the perfect location in the heart of Totowa, NJ

Spiga offers Authentic Artisanal Italian dishes

We’re excited to hand over the keys to Frank and Alec Ruccio, the new owners of Spiga Restaurant! We thank all of our amazing customers for the years and years of support- without you all we wouldn’t have created this vibrant community of individuals that we can also call family. We’re immensely and forever grateful for the relationships built around the tables at Spiga.

We wish the new owners many years of success, amazing memories and new loyal friendships that are soon to be made.
