Someone sent me this picture of my Nonna’s oven today.
It breaks my heart to see it lying in ruins, conquered by time.
But I look closer, and I can still see the smoke rising, still hear the crackle of the wood fire, and still feel her gentle hands teaching us how to treat the dough.
When I started Mangio Fresco, I didn't do it just to build a business. I did it because this fire can never truly be extinguished.
We aren’t just selling food at the market. We are carrying this ancient torch, thousands of miles away, one bite at a time.
