SummerStrong is so much more than just another event we do.
10 or so years ago I remember hearing about SummerStrong from our Director of Strength & Conditioning at BGSU, .goodrich
He had mentioned something about getting our coffee there somehow to me… this was still when I zero idea about business and was still set on S&C being my career. I had no concept of what SummerStrong was.
Nor did I have any idea about how I’d even go about landing a sponsor slot.
Culture has a way of attracting the right people.
Really cool how this has come full circle, hearing about SummerStrong in the Strength world, and now getting to be apart of it providing coffee for everyone in attendance.
Now, we get to be apart of this legendary event.
It’s so much more than a marketing/awareness event for us. It’s for the love of the game. Physical Culture is a huge part of my life & that will never change. I wouldn’t be who I am today without it.
The relationships and life long friends Marissa and I have made far outweigh any transaction we could possibly make.
Grateful we get to be apart of SummerStrong.
Tank is always on E afterwards. But always leaves us with a full cup to keep holding ourselves to the standard.
Give more than you get.
Relationships > transactions.
Lean in, get involved, live the code.
Do so with your full attention, full ability, and never let off the gas. You’ll never get that one specific moment again.
