Dear Ice Cream Dan fans and valued customers,

It’s with a heavy heart that I share some difficult news. Due to ongoing medical issues, Ice Cream Dan will be closing down for the foreseeable future.

Serving this community has meant the world to me. From the smiles at the window to the conversations on warm summer days, every moment has been something I’ve truly cherished. I’m incredibly grateful for all of your support, loyalty, and kindness over the last few years.

While this isn’t an easy decision, my health needs to come first right now. I appreciate your understanding and continued well wishes during this time.

Thank you to all the Ice Cream Dan Super Fans, and all of you for being such an amazing part of this journey.

What’s up Ice Cream Dan fans? Ice cream season may be over but we still want to keep our fans happy. Looking for something for your teens to do tonight…try the Cognition virtual reality teen night in Beaulah. Bring friends and family and enjoy a GREAT night.

It is with heavy heart I share this. I waited outnof respect for him and his family but feel its times to share.
Gary was a friend and a mentor. Without him there would be no Ice Cream Dan. He showed me what it meant to be The Ice Cream Man for a community and the importance of caring for people while caring for your business. I took what he taught me, used that knowledge and expanded it with the use of social media. He was a devote Catholic man, very much strong in his faith.
Rest In Peace Gary…We will all be having an ice cream sandwich today in your honor.

Ice Cream Dan is in Rapid City for the raising of the new GIANT American Flag at Cold Front Diesel. KLT the Rock Station, Kalkaska High School Jr Honor Guard, Kalkaska Sheriff Office, Michigan State Police, , and others. Proud and Honored

Ice Cream Dan is at the National Coho Salmon Festival in Honor for the next two days. Multiple food trucks, including TC Taco, Eric's wraps llc., Lake Mich Fresh Fish, aka fish frier for hire, and others. Activities for kids, a beer tent for the adults, and live music. Come on out to the ball fields in Honor.

We are back at the Grand Traverse Civic Center to with the Traverse City Roller Derby. If you have not seen a roller derby event, don’t miss this tournament today. 5 team from multiple states, hard hitting action, and great comraderie. Fun time for the whole family.

What’s your plans this weekend? Nothing? Well, get out of the house, come down to the Grand Traverse Civic Center and join Ice Cream Dan and the Traverse City Roller Derby team for a weekend of fun. If you haven’t seen a roller derby match, now’s the time with 8 different matches and 5 different teams from around the region. Don’t think, just do it!!! 😁🛼
